Purpose Statement - Gather as a body of Christ to experience joy in relationship while building denominational vision and identity.
- Gather the church community for worship, fellowship, learning and carrying out the work of the church
- Nurture participants in Christian growth and discipleship, inviting them to make and/or strengthen their commitment to Christ and the church.
- Gain an understanding of the Biblical story through an Anabaptist lens.
- Resource participants and congregational and conference leaders.
- Enable delegates to confer on issues of denominational life and conduct the established assembly business.
- Serve and be a witness to the local community.
- Create an opportunity for all parts of Mennonite Church USA to gather, regardless of participants’ race, ethnicity, gender, age, geographic location or socioeconomic status.
