Tax rates
Ohio state sales tax rate is 6.75%. Hotel room occupancy rate is 10%. Churches are eligible for tax exemption in Ohio. Complete the tax exemption form and provide it to your hotel prior to arrival.
Deadlines
- Online registration opens at 8:00 a.m. EST on December 1, 2008
- Paper registration will be accepted beginning January 2, 2009
- Financial aid requests need to be received by April 1, 2009
- Early registration deadline is April 30, 2009
- Housing reservation deadline is May 20, 2009
Financial aid
Financial aid is awarded based on need. Financial aid covers only the registration fees for an individual, a family, or a youth group. Please complete the form and return it to Convention Planning, carole@mennoniteusa.org, fax (574) 293-1892 by April 1, 2009. No joke!
