Inspiration for a new year:
Take a few minutes during worship to offer guidance for using Mennonite devotional resources at home during the coming year, and ask teachers and church leaders to look for ways they might draw upon such resources in Sunday school, small group sessions or meetings. Find more information about the following devotional resources at www.mpn.net, and order them for families or individuals in your church. Rejoice! Daily Devotional Readings offers a brief meditation on a Scripture passage and a prayer suggestion for each day, as well as prayer requests from Mennonite workers and agencies. One new Rejoice! reader shared the following with Rejoice! editorial staff:
“For years I had been using another devotional, but I recently picked up a copy of Rejoice! With Rejoice!, I feel that I am at home with “my people” and our faith traditions. I deeply appreciate the prayer prompt at the end of each meditation. May God continue to inspire each of you.”
