Help kids catch the Spirit! New for VBS 2009

Catch the Spirit! Join God’s Work in the World! invites children ages 4 to grade 8 to join the movement of the Holy Spirit in their lives, in the church and with God’s people around the world. Kids will learn how to get involved, speak up and join God’s work through fun worship, interactive dramas, lively songs and an emphasis on active Bible learning. Ten easy-to-plan activity centers provide a great way to plug in parents or volunteers. Check www.mpn.net/vbs
for more information and to order online.

Want to get youth and adults into the Bible? Try Being There!

Designed for youth, but also useful for adult groups, these three volumes of Bible-based simulations can be used in Christian education classes, retreats or special events. Each book contains simulations to guide groups on an exciting exploration of Bible themes and times: one from the Old Testament, one from the Gospels and one from the early church. This is a great activity idea for mentors and youth or intergenerational settings. Find a sample excerpt and more information at www.mpn.net/beingthere.
