Missional Leaders meeting May 2 to 4

Come to the Missional Leaders meeting in Denver at the Ramada Inn Downtown Denver. The theme is “Leading by Example,” and the event will include “Dwelling in the Word,” a case study and worship in local congregations on Sunday morning. Practical applications include a panel of area pastors responding to the question, “Where and how do I see Christ in my context?” and a case study from an area congregation.

Jeff Wright, conference minister for Pacific Southwest Conference, will present the opening session Saturday afternoon, and will also direct some of the practical experiences along with Gilberto Flores and John Powell. Flores was former director of Denominational Ministry and Missional Church for Mennonite Church USA Executive Leadership. In his new role, he is associate conference minister for Western District Conference. John Powell is interim director for U.S. Ministries at Mennonite Mission Network.

The meeting is sponsored by Mennonite Church USA Executive Leadership and Mennonite Mission Network and is open to area conference leaders, congregational leaders and others with a heart for missional church.

Registration is available online. Register by March 16 and save some money; final registration deadline is March 30.
