    Benefits of a new facility

  • The ability to redirect current $170,000 rent funds toward program ministries.
  • The ability to draw from AMBS faculty insights and experience to strengthen the theological, pastoral and missional foundations of Mennonite Church USA.
  • To connect future church leaders at the seminary with Executive Leadership and Mission Network.
  • To allow Executive Leadership and the Mission Network to provide special expertise to short-term students, especially during Pastor’s Week and Interterm.
  • To provide space for future expansion, as needed.
  • To enhance the facility's functionality and accessibility for staff and community groups.
  • Managing the facility

  • All Mennonite Church USA denominational occupants will be partners in managing the building.
  • Other Mennonite Church USA agencies with facility needs will be welcome as long as space is available. The space will be flexible to allow for changes in organizational needs and agency structures.
  • Mennonite Mission Network will hold the title to the building on behalf of all building partners.
  • Campaign timeline
    Gift solicitation will be made through 2010. Construction will take place from June 2010 through December 2011, pending receipt of sufficient funding.
