  Becoming a Christ-like Church

Cultivating Missional Communities

Pathways:

  1. Empower our Leaders
  2. Equip Disciples for Ministry
  3. Renew our Spiritual Center
  4. Practice God's Hospitality
  5. Understand Who We Are
  6. Discern and Join God's Movement Among Us and in the World

Mennonite Church USA encourages your congregation to be engaged Christ’s mission in the world. These six transformational pathways invite assessment and action for different aspects of your congregational life—both the quality of the spiritual vitality within your congregation and the quality of your engagement with your community beyond your congregation. Together, the six pathways provide a holistic approach to developing a visibly Christ-like congregation.

Select the pathway of interest to the left, or start with the Introduction, "Missional" Defined, The six habits of the missional church, and Opening Prayer.

This booklet and website was produced for Mennonite Church USA congregations by the resource committee of the churchwide MC USA Missional Church Team.
