Move to new Elkhart building set for Dec. 19–21

Many volunteers have helped with cleanup and finishing work as well as furniture construction on the new Elkhart building of Mennonite Church USA. Mennonite Church USA Executive Director Ervin Stutzman of Harrisonburg, Va., volunteered his time to do some finish carpentry in the denomination’s new office building on Benham Avenue Nov. 10–11. The new Mennonite Church USA office building at 3145 Benham Avenue in Elkhart, Ind., is nearing completion. The new facility, located just south of Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary, will provide workspace and meeting rooms for multiple Mennonite Church USA organizations, including Executive Board staff, Mennonite Mission Network, Mennonite Education Agency, MennoMedia and The Mennonite. Staff members are planning to move into the building Dec. 19–21.

Because of the move, on Monday, Dec. 19, and Tuesday, Dec. 20, Mennonite Church USA Elkhart staff will not have access to phone, e-mail, internet or fax. Incoming calls will be routed to the Newton, Kan., office.

“We apologize for the inconvenience this interruption of service may cause, and ask your patience as we settle into our new facility,” said Tim Yoder, director of information technology for Mennonite Mission Network.
