MennoMedia releases first catalog
2012 edition lists books, videos, CDs, curriculum and other products

HARRISONBURG, Va., and WATERLOO, Ont.—The first catalog representing MennoMedia, the newly formed publishing and media agency, arrived in homes and churches in January. Copies will also be inserted in upcoming mailings to church educators and pastors.
The annual catalog of MennoMedia, which serves Mennonite Church USA and Mennonite Church Canada, lists products for three imprints or brands:
- Herald Press—Books, e-books and CDs
- Faith & Life Resources—Curriculum, periodicals, hymnals and church supplies
- Third Way Media—Videos, CDs, web downloads and other materials
“We’re pleased to now have a catalog that includes all our resources,” says Russ Eanes, executive director of MennoMedia. “We know some people are familiar with us through our three imprints but may not know about other resources we offer, and we hope this new catalog will help them find a broader variety of our materials.”
Each imprint is offering a variety of new titles this year. For example, Faith & Life Resources has a new Bible study and devotional series for adults called With the Word, and the 2012 vacation Bible school curriculum Take Me to the Water: God’s Love Flows. Third Way Media recently produced a documentary, Waging Peace: Muslim and Christian Alternatives. New Herald Press books include Go to Church, Change the World and Dive: Devotions for Deeper Living.
“Printed catalogs are a helpful reference for pastors, church staff, educators and others within the Mennonite church who want to stay abreast of the most current Anabaptist/Mennonite resources available,” says Steve Shenk, director of marketing and sales for MennoMedia. “We also encourage people to use our website, www.MennoMedia.org, to be updated as new information becomes available.”
In addition to Mennonite congregations and contacts, the MennoMedia catalog was sent to retailers, other churches, publishers and distributors, and individuals. Copies can be requested at www.MennoMedia.org/store.
