MC USA has joined more than two dozen Christian and Jewish denominations and associations in a lawsuit (Mennonite Church USA v. U.S. Department of Homeland Security et. al.) to protect church sanctity.
Why we took action
On January 20, 2025, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security rescinded its “sensitive locations” policy, threatening the ability of our faith communities to provide sanctuary and serve their diverse communities without fear of government interference.
